College tuition has risen by 553% since 1984. One GIF shows just how harsh that is

This is why anyone who went to college before the 1990s can shove their “Hey, I worked my way through school and graduated with no debt” talk…

Everyone over 45 likes to say that our generation is a bunch of whining losers but what most of them fail to realize is that they cant compare our lives and decisions to theirs, we live in a different world.

While there is a lot of appropriate rage about Ferguson right now, the killing of John Crawford, III is getting less attention than it deserves. I put Shaun King’s tweets and history lesson on the matter in chronological order for easier consumption.

just gonna say this: if someone has social anxiety and they ask you something akin to ‘are you mad at me’ or ‘do you hate me’, it isn’t because they don’t trust you, it’s because their brain literally tells them that all the time

it’s not a personal slight, it’s insecurity caused by mental illness

thanks

These questions may also come from someone when directed to their abusive partner. ‘Do you hate me?’ ‘Do you love me?’ ‘Were you ever in love with me?’ ‘Why do you even want me around?’
